Members of the Uniswap community have voted in favor of deploying Uniswap v3 on the Boba Network layer 2 protocol on Ethereum.

The vote received more than 51 million votes, with the proposal Boba The Foundation and FranklinDAO applications to deploy Uniswap v3 on the Boba Network have been passed, meaning Boba Network will be the sixth network to deploy Uniswap v3, scheduled for the next few weeks.
The move is backed by a number of entities, including GFX Labs, Blockchain at Michigan, Gauntlet, and ConsenSys.
Alan Chiu, co-founder and CEO of Enya Labs, the main sponsor of the Boba Network, said this will enable developers within the ecosystem to build decentralized finance (DeFi) applications on- and off. off-chain on top of Uniswap
Chiu noted that The decentralized exchange will become more accessible to the institutional market. The Boba Network team also believes this is an opportunity for Uniswap to expand into key Asian markets, given Boba Network’s strong interest in South Korea. and is slowly expanding to Japan
