The trade tax in Baierbrunn is higher than expected – district of Munich

The people of Baierbrunn thought that due to the pandemic they would have to withdraw an amount from the property budget and add it to the administrative budget. Fortunately, however, it turned out exactly the other way around: 2.2 million euros can now be paid into the asset budget, since more than four million euros in trade tax were collected. Because this income was far higher than expected. This was announced by Mayor Patrick Ott in the municipal council under the agenda item “Status Quo Budget”. This point is regularly included at the request of the municipal council so that the committee is informed about the development of the budget. The low revenue expectations were due to the reduced advance payments by the companies. Many had had these amounts cut by the tax office in view of the crisis. However, despite the pandemic, real profits were higher than expected and so was the trade tax that had to be paid. Ott is also pleased that two new companies have settled in Baierbrunn, one from the fashion industry and one for laboratory equipment. The latter in particular was of course one of the winners of the pandemic.
