The starred restaurant of chefs Tabata and Ludovic Mey will close on Friday

After seven years of delighting the taste buds of Lyonnais who come to eat in their restaurant Les Apothicaires, Tabata and Ludovic Mey have decided to close shop. Friday April 28, the establishment, which won a Michelin star in 2020, will be definitively closed after the last service, the couple announced in a press release this Monday morning.

For the two chefs, “a page is turned” in order to “write a new chapter in a pretty tale”. The objective: to open a new restaurant “bigger” and “more representative of (their) cuisine”, they specify to 20 minutes.

For the time being, the place and the opening date have not yet been communicated, Tabata and Ludovic still looking for the ideal location. But the two chefs want to be reassuring, promising that “the soul of their cuisine will evolve but not change”.
