The Schaezlerpalais Augsburg exhibits glass art by Ida Paulin – Munich

From small egg cups to large vases: painting ceramics is currently very trendy. Everyday objects become eye-catchers in the home. Even a good 100 years ago, decorating dishes was already a popular activity, but back then glass art was in the foreground. Ida Paulin from Augsburg was one of the most important glass artists at the beginning of the 20th century. Her work will now be exhibited at the Schaezlerpalais in Augsburg from September 22nd to March 31st. The grand opening will take place in the ballroom on September 21st at 6 p.m.

Ida Paulin particularly decorated everyday objects with geometric patterns, ornaments or figures, but also designed her own glasses. In addition to glass art, she also devoted herself to drawing postcards as well as embroidery and batik. In Augsburg, the work of the forgotten artist will be honored for the first time in an overview exhibition.
