The prosecution has opened two investigations, after the knife attack which left one dead and another injured on Wednesday evening in Bordeaux, announced this Thursday the public prosecutor, Frédérique Porterie.
The first, targeting the assailant, shot dead by the police, is open to charges of murder, attempted murder, violence with a weapon resulting in an ITT of more than ten days on a police officer. According to the magistrate, the perpetrator, who is of Afghan origin and aged 25, would have previously had a first similar altercation with other individuals.

The autopsies of the two victims were carried out overnight. The first has nine stab wounds, “including four penetrating the chest wall. » Regarding the assailant, “the death is linked to multiple wounds, caused by three projectiles entering the chest. » The second victim was transported in absolute emergency to CHU Pellegrin. He suffered three stab wounds. Emergency surgery, his life is no longer in danger.
