He chose to draw first, undoubtedly to destabilize the government. Stefanos Kasselakis believes that the bill is “his only option” after the Prime Minister’s statements made the day before.
On Thursday, the head of the conservative government Kyriakos Mitsotakis said: “Don’t put the cart before the horse. We will first explain what we want to do and then we will talk about the timetable.” A statement which could suggest that the government wanted to postpone its bill, although promised by Kyriakos Mitsotakis during his re-election in June.
Greece divided over the issue of homosexuality

In a Pulse poll carried out for the Skaï channel, 52% of Greeks said they were in favor of homosexual marriage. But 47% of those questioned did not want “legal recognition of children of same-sex couples”.
