Six years ago, railway guard Thiel’s great love moved to the beautiful Maxvorstadt. Today the old Minna Thiel train car in front of the HFF is a popular meeting point and vibrant cultural venue with rail bus concerts, readings, yoga sessions, workshops and now also a photo box. Minna Thiel is celebrating six years of culture and drinks with a colorful anniversary party on Sunday, September 10th.
The Munich bands provide musical accompaniment Sunday Collective with relaxed indie pop and Suntone looping the festival with an intense guitar sound. The DJ La Carovana Sound also plays his unique mix of Afro-House, Techno and Disco. A highlight of the afternoon is the live graffiti session by Sonido Caribe Same, who sprayed the new photo booth. The artist has already embellished Minna Thiel’s centerpiece, the train carriage, with graffiti.
