The party promises to be beautiful this weekend in Brittany on the occasion of the great start of the Tour de France. But to take advantage of the event, it will be necessary to show a white paw. The organizers have indeed indicated that the health pass will be compulsory during the presentation of the teams this Thursday at the end of the afternoon in Brest as well as in specific areas during the departures and arrivals of the four Breton stages.

The areas concerned are the places located at the start of the stages in front of the podium and around the line, at the arrivals in the last hundreds of meters. “The gauge will take into account the configuration of the sites,” said Pierre-Yves Thouault, deputy director of the Tour.
The measure applies from the age of 11
Regarding the presentation of the 23 teams, the pass will be required on the long parade through the city of Brest to the place of ceremony. The measure will apply to all people over 11 years old.
The health pass is in the form of an individual QR code, which certifies that the person presenting it fulfills certain vaccination or recent test conditions, essentially a negative PCR or antigen test of less than 48 hours.
