The Greens want these ministries in the next federal government

According to a report, there should be movement in the distribution of the ministries in the traffic light negotiations. The Greens apparently want to forego a key post.

The green no longer remain on the post of Federal Minister of Finance, reports the “Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung”. According to the newspaper, the round of ten green negotiators decided on Tuesday to demand six ministries for the party: The Foreign Ministry, the Ministry of Transport as well as the departments agriculture, environment, family and transformation.

The report emphasizes, however, that the party’s decision is not yet final, including with FDP and SPD the division of responsibilities has not yet been discussed. It is conceivable that the green waiver is intended to buy concessions in terms of climate protection.

Lindner wants to become finance minister

Previously became party leader Robert Habeck repeatedly reported ambitions for the Ministry of Finance. However, the FDP boss had Christian Lindner publicly formulated his right to the office even before the federal election. From party circles of the Greens it is said that they now want to give up the office in order not to jeopardize the stability of the coming government with the liberals from the start.

According to the report, the following personal details for the posts are under discussion among the Greens: Annalena Baerbock as foreign minister, Habeck could become environment minister. As Minister of Transport is Anton Hofreiter, as Minister of Family Affairs Katrin Göring-Eckardt in conversation.
