Internal investigations into right-wing slogans after a meeting of the FDP party youth – Bavaria

At a party after the state congress of the Young Liberals, two members are said to have chanted “Germany for the Germans, foreigners out.” Both should now leave the Julis. FDP state leader Martin Hagen is “shocked”.

The party youth of the FDP Bavaria is investigating internally against two members who are said to have shown xenophobia at a party after a state congress in Weiden in the Upper Palatinate in April. This was confirmed on Friday by the state spokesman for the Young Liberals (Julis), after the Southgerman newspaper had been confronted with relevant information. “A detailed investigation was immediately carried out by the association’s ombudsmen,” said the spokesman. One member had already anticipated being kicked out of the party youth and had declared on his own initiative that he would be leaving the Julis. Discussions would therefore take place with the second person, “at the end of which there should be a successful exclusion procedure before the arbitration tribunal”.
