“The Great Advent Singing”: Florian Silbereisen touched by love duet | entertainment

This performance touched the hearts of many…

The duet of Oli.P (44) and his wife Pauline (35) was one of the highlights of Florian Silbereisen’s ARD show “Everyone sings Christmas – the great Advent singing 2022”. Two years ago, both wanted to be on stage together with the entertainer. But then everything turned out differently. Now they could keep their promise.

Florian Silbereisen was moved when he announced his guests. Hard times lie behind the couple. In 2020, Pauline Petszokat had to undergo brain surgery because a golf ball-sized tumor was pressing on the optic nerve and movement center. The planned appearance at her husband’s side had to be canceled at the time.

The two only appeared in public again in July of this year. During his appearance on Silbereisen’s ARD show “The Big Hit Comeback 2022” she was still in the audience. The moderator on Monday evening: “Now a big wish is coming true. Because they are finally on stage together.” Hand in hand, the couple sang “Little flashlight burn”, both of them kept lovingly looking into each other’s eyes.

Great performance and great relief

Pauline in particular was relieved after the successful performance. She said happily: “Done!” Her Oli was also looking forward to this moment. The musician said to Silbereisen: “At the time we said, as soon as possible, we’ll do it. And the fact that it can be here and now just makes us both happy.”

In the show, clubs, groups and choirs performed together with hit stars and sang the most popular Christmas carols. Silbereisen revealed: “We’ve been rehearsing diligently for weeks.” Daniela Katzenberger (36) brought her whole family with her. She, her husband Lucas Cordalis (55) and daughter Sophia (7) performed the classic “In the Christmas Bakery”. The trio was supported musically by handball players from Schleswig-Holstein. Flori is enthusiastic: “The Waterkant meets Mallorca. Was that great! Really, really beautiful.”

It got really weird when a motorcycle club in rabbit costumes sang a German version of “Last Christmas”. Silbereisen reassured his TV viewers: “If you’re tuning in now: you’re singing Advent and not the Easter show.”

DJ Ötzi (51) also had a little surprise ready. A chorus of bearded men knocked him off his feet. The hit star impressed: “That was world class. I’ll take off my cap if I can.” In fact, the Schlager star stood topless for a moment. Flori knew: “He rarely does that.”

The scrap secret Santa with Ross Antony (48) caused laughter. According to Silbereisen, he always has the best gift tips. But what the entertainer offered nobody would want under the Christmas tree. So he wanted to make a small massage roller palatable to Flori, and held it boldly to the host’s cheek. He wasn’t convinced. “That pulls your cheeks off.” When Ross Antony also painted his thumbnail red to advertise a nail dryer, Silbereisen got too colorful. “I can’t take that anymore!”

Stars like Thomas Anders (59), the princes, Ella Endlich (38), the Kelly Family and many others also created a festive mood on the show.
