It was a rarity there, of course, and the red-cheeked children of craftsmen and civil servants – the offspring of “little people with common sense” would be called FW boss Hubert Aiwanger – stood perplexed at the Wapperl and tried their hand at the interpretation. The boys only knew that the cars were owned by “students” who, someone had heard, always put vegetables on the table. Today there is no longer any need for such confessions in the car because everyone is talking about climate change and the slogan above the exhaust pipe is more of a caricature.
Aiwanger presented a new edition these days. Only when you argue about the last schnitzel or the last bratwurst at the refrigerated counter, there is no replenishment of food and it is politically “going round” in the country, people will notice. . . – so what? That pig farmers are “not valued enough politically”, so his message at the Epiphany meeting of the FW. Background: The price of pigs for slaughter remains at a low level, because that hardly covers costs, many farmers are considering phasing out. Aiwanger fears empty stables and dependence on imports.
In the appearance, however, there is still a message: The coalition of CSU and FW is now back together, after the mutual pain in the election campaign and gossip about corona rules and vaccinations, there is a new harmony. Under the sign of the sow, Prime Minister Markus Söder and his vice stand side by side. Söder recently started a meat dispute with Federal Agriculture Minister Cem Özdemir, and for his birthday he posted a photo of the barbecue; there was a middle pork belly stall on the grate. Söder also liked the Leberkäs, which is why he gave the Free State the motto “Leberkäs and lasers”. Coincides with Aiwanger, originator of the thesis that construction workers who only get meat once a week fall from the scaffolding.
