The city of gastronomy is back, will it keep its promises?

After a first resounding failure and a premature closure after only ten months of existence, the city of gastronomy in Lyon is being offered a second chance. The establishment, now managed by the metropolis, resumes service and opens this Friday to the public.

It presents a more modest but more diversified project. Although the catering area has been removed for the moment, three new exhibitions mark this new beginning: “Banquet” which offers an immersion at the table, “SEB Discovery” which traces the history of the SEB group and “Bonnes tables, belles tables” which deciphers the codes of the art of dressage and service professions.

The team seems to have learned the lessons of the past: the entrance fee is 7 euros for adults and will be free for those under 18. Video tour of the premises.
