Despite still declining audiences, ninja warrior always seems to be successful for TF1. Regularly beaten by the competition in its seventh season, including in the final on February 11, the “hero’s journey” will return for an eighth season still recorded in Cannes, the chain and the city of festivals announced on Tuesday.
Filming is scheduled from “Wednesday March 29 to Tuesday April 4”, “subject to delay in the event of bad weather”, always on the esplanade of the Pantiero which adjoins the Old Port of Cannes, specifies a joint press release. However, the release dates are not specified. The show will once again be hosted by Christophe Beaugrand, Denis Brogniart and Iris Mittenaere.
The city is appealing to Cannes residents who would like to attend the recordings. The stands will be open only to residents of the city, aged at least 10 and accompanied by an adult and registered via a form available on cannes.com.
