Four new acoustic versions on TV

On American breakfast television: Taylor Swift presents four songs before the start of her concert film on Disney+.
New material for all Swifties: Taylor Swift (34) announces four new songs. She wants to present these purely acoustic songs on the TV show “Good Morning America” four days in a row. The singer announced this in a statement on Monday (March 11). Video message for the US broadcaster ABC’s breakfast television. “Tune in daily this week to get an exclusive look at the acoustic songs from the Eras Tour (My Version),” said the megastar.
The background to the campaign: Taylor Swift is promoting the launch of a new cut of her concert film “The Eras Tour”. The “Taylor’s Version” of the film premieres on Disney+ on March 15th. With the name, the artist alludes to several new recordings of her older albums, which also bear the subtitle “Taylor’s Version”.
Three and a half hours of Taylor Swift on Disney+
“Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version)” includes according to Disney+ “four additional songs not shown in theaters, as well as a post-credits acoustic collection featuring four previously unseen performances.” At three and a half hours, the new cut is forty minutes longer than the theatrical release.
Another extended version of “The Eras Tour” can currently be seen in the stream on Amazon Prime Video. It lasts three hours and is not available in Germany.
“Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour” could be seen in cinemas from October 13, 2023. It quickly became the most successful concert film in history – matching the most successful tour in music history. The Eras Tour, in which Taylor Swift covers all phases of her 17-year career, has been running since spring 2023. In July 2024, Taylor Swift will stop in Germany for five gigs.
