Many Bundesliga clubs have been asking their fans to sing for Christmas during the Advent season for many years – on the fourth Sunday in Advent, numerous people in Taufkirchen followed the SV-DJK’s call to the stadium of the sports and leisure park. While the final of the soccer World Cup between Argentina and France was still being played in Qatar, everyone who didn’t care for Messi, Mbappé and Co. sang Christmas carols into the cold evening sky instead of fan chants. To warm up there was mulled wine, punch and bratwurst rolls.
