A one-year-old boy in Ettringen (Unterallgäu district) scalded more than a third of his skin with hot water. The child pulled a pot of water from a window sill on Saturday evening, the police said on Sunday.
The water scalded about 35 percent of the boy’s skin. A rescue helicopter flew the child to a children’s hospital in Munich. The investigators assume an accident and, based on initial findings, foul play has been ruled out.
