Abuse of power, insults, sexism: the journalist Anuschka Roshani accuses the ex-head of the renowned Tamedia publication “Das Magazin” of a “regime of bullying”.
The journalist Anuschka Roshani, 57, was born in Berlin. She started her career at Mirrorthen she moved to Zurich to work there from 2002 to 2022 The magazine to work, one of the most renowned publications in Switzerland. In the summer of 2022 announced Tamediathat Finn Canonica that magazine will leave. Shortly thereafter, Tamedia also dismissed Anuschka Roshani. The journalist filed a lawsuit against the publishing house in November – “for violating the duty of care due to sexist discrimination and bullying”.
The Mirror writes that he has examined the allegations by Roshani, the research supports the allegations and makes them appear plausible overall. Accordingly, Finn Canonica’s lawyer replied: “The allegations are not correct and are vehemently denied.” Tamedia in turn shared this Mirror that the publisher “took the allegations very seriously and had them checked meticulously”. However, an external investigation was unable to confirm “the majority” of Roshani’s allegations.
The SZ also has an internal statement from the Tamedia management to the workforce on Sunday. In it, managing director Andreas Schaffner and member of the management team Mathias Müller from Blumencron admit “that there have been omissions in the past and that the clarification in this case took too long”.
