It is the signal that millions of train travelers have been waiting for. After the collective bargaining dispute recently escalated again, Deutsche Bahn and the train drivers’ union (GDL) are now sitting down again. After strikes this week and last, there is hope that the controversial wage round will soon come to an end – and that passengers will be able to plan their trips more or less carefree again.
