Strike in Munich: sleet, full buses and traffic jams – that’s how the day went – Munich

Cyclists in the sleet, people wandering through the railway sheds with suitcases, crammed buses and singing trade unionists – observations from the strike front.

From

There is a brief moment of good humor on this rainy and freezing Monday. In the completely overcrowded bus of line 62, the passengers squeeze so tightly together that one otherwise only knows from photos from the subways in Tokyo. The involuntary close contact is stressful, you can clearly see that in the people. Who likes to smack each other in the face? Suddenly someone calls out “The tickets please” and the stress erupts in loud laughter.
