The final showdown for the 2020 election took place at the end of October and was somewhat gentler than the first one a month earlier. At the end of September four years ago, then-challenger Biden declared the then incumbent, among other things, the worst US president of all time and parried another interjection from the blustering Trump: “Shut up, man!”
