The popular royal series “The Crown” is entering the home stretch. Now there is first food for the fans.

One month before the start of the final season of the British royal series “The Crown”. Netflix releases photos of the most important characters. Among others, Prince William (Rufus Kampa) and Prince Harry (Fflyn Edwards) can be seen alongside their mother, Princess Diana (Elizabeth Debicki). The streaming service posted eight new pictures on the X platform. In addition to Imelda Staunton in the role of Queen Elizabeth II, Diana’s future partner Dodi Al-Fayed, played by Khalid Abdalla, is also introduced.

As Netflix recently announced, the first four episodes of the final season will be available from November 16th, and episodes five to ten from December 14th. The series about the British monarchy, which has been running since 2016, has already won numerous awards, including several Emmys and Golden Globes.

The first episodes of the sixth season are about Queen Elizabeth II from 1997 to 2005 and about the life of Princess Diana, her relationship with Dodi Al-Fayed and the death of the two in a car accident in Paris in 1997. The later episodes focus on dealing with the death of Princess Diana, the Queen’s Golden Jubilee and the wedding of Prince Charles (Dominic West) and Camilla Parker Bowles (Olivia Williams). Ed McVey and Meg Bellamy portray Prince William and Kate Middleton as a young couple.

Alex Gabassi and German filmmaker Christian Schwochow are on board as directors.
