Steffen Henssler torn out of the car: police officer points gun at TV chef Entertainment

This anecdote could be straight out of an action movie!

It was only in February that star chef Steffen Henssler (50) had to give up his rag because he got too close to the man in front and then fibbed in court ( BILD reported). Now the Porsche fan unpacks – and says that the police have chased him before because he ran a red light!

It was 2 a.m. and Henssler was shooting through the streets “in the high three-digit range”. He tells this in the conversation format “More than Talking” (Magenta TV) from Verona Pooth (55).

As the sushi samurai says, he caused a police operation before his television career. The moderator drove his brother home at night after work. “There was nothing going on,” he reports to Pooth.

Steffen Henssler had a gun to his forehead

So he ignored yellow and red traffic lights and recklessly sped through the streets – until the police spotted him. Plainclothes officers blocked his drive forwards and backwards, rushed over. “I have a gun on my head, my brother has a gun on my head,” the TV chef describes the mission.

The tone was sharp: “A shout: Engine off! Hands off the steering wheel,” he recalls.

But Henssler was completely taken aback! “What do they want from me?” he asked himself. Because he was thrown to the ground, tied behind his back. “Because they really thought we stole this car and shot through town,” he explains.

Policeman hits Henssler on the hood

And that’s not where the officers’ resolute action stopped – because Henssler jokingly called out to his brother: “Don’t make any statements!” An officer grabbed his head and hit him on the hood of the car.

Luckily he can laugh about it now. The motorsport fan in his Porsche (534 hp) only races as fast on the racetrack as he did back then, he says. “It actually makes you calmer on the street.”
