FDP continues federal party conference
The FDP’s course determination goes into the second and final day. Further motions relating to the Liberals’ political goals will be decided at the federal party conference in Berlin.
The day before, the FDP leadership had received great support for its call for an “economic turnaround” for Germany. A large majority of delegates voted in Berlin on Saturday for the key motion presented. This formulates the main demands of the twelve-point paper, which caused anger among the coalition partners.
The keynote speaker today is Secretary General Bijan Djir-Sarai, who ends the meeting.
