Florian Schardt wants to be in the Bavarian state parliament and can now be sure of the support of his SPD local association in Ottobrunn. On Tuesday, the local comrades unanimously voted in favor of a candidacy for the SPD district chairman in the Munich-North constituency. “It is a good tradition in the SPD that the local home association provides the candidate with a good tailwind,” said Ottobrunn SPD Chairwoman Sabine Athens. The official nomination by the members of the SPD sub-district will follow, and the state election itself will take place in autumn 2023. Schardt’s opponent in the constituency will probably be Maximilian Böltl on the part of the CSU.
