Space travel: Supercomputer Caro put into operation in Göttingen

Cara gets company: With Caro, another supercomputer starts work at the Aerospace Center. The systems are intended to make aircraft and wind turbines safer in the future.

The German Aerospace Center (DLR) has put a new supercomputer into operation. The system, christened Caro, will in future calculate, among other things, complex flow models for aircraft, trains, wind turbines and spaceships.
