Six radical Parisian supporters placed in police custody

The day before the PSG-Newcastle match was almost as explosive as the previous day of the Champions League between AC Milan and PSG. A Parisian supporter was then “seriously injured” by a stabbing in Italy. Six people, possible radical supporters of PSG, were in fact placed in police custody in Paris. They are suspected of having wanted to “fight” Monday evening with English supporters, on the sidelines of this European clash against Newcastle, as we learned this Tuesday from consistent sources.

These six people, including four people on the S file, were arrested during a gathering of Paris Saint-Germain supporters. They would have wanted to “fight with the English”, as a police source states. PSG faces Newcastle this Tuesday (9 p.m.), as part of the 5th day of the group stage of the Champions League.

They were heading towards a bar where there were Newcastle supporters

“Six people were arrested among several dozen individuals who were heading, dressed in black and with masked faces, towards a bar where there were English supporters,” confirms the Paris prosecutor’s office.

“These individuals were placed in police custody on charges of participation in a group formed with a view to preparing violence against people or destruction or damage to property,” specifies the public prosecutor. Investigations are continuing and the investigation is entrusted to the Local Reception and Investigation Service (SAIP) of Paris Center.
