New Škoda Kodiaq in the test – Car & Mobile

As a seven-seater, the new Kodiaq is significantly more spacious than the new VW Tiguan, but not more expensive. With the second generation of the mid-range SUV, Škoda has managed to make a good car even better – with a simple formula for success.

More car for the money, that’s so easy to say. After all, at 4.70 meters, the Kodiaq was not a small SUV. The second generation has grown by six centimeters and is therefore around 20 centimeters longer than the new Tiguan. Because the VW is currently taking a break as a seven-seater, its close relative from the Czech Republic is taking the lead in terms of space. But it’s not just in this respect that the new Kodiaq ranks at the top end of the middle class.
