Zoe Wees at the ESC? – “Would gratefully decline”
The 21-year-old has experience with music competitions – she started her career at the age of 14 on “The Voice Kids”. But Zoe Wees says about the ESC: “That’s just not my vibe.”
The successful German musician Zoe Wees can’t imagine singing for Germany at the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC). “I would gratefully decline,” said the 21-year-old to the German Press Agency.
“That’s not my format. I don’t think it suits me. That’s just not my vibe.”
Wees at least has casting show experience. At the age of 14, she was a contestant on “The Voice Kids” and made it to the third round. The Hamburg native made her breakthrough in 2020 with her hit “Control”.
Now Wees is releasing her debut album “Therapy” on Friday (November 3rd).
