A 73-year-old wheelchair user was robbed in Untersendling on Saturday. The perpetrator first helped the woman get off at the Brudermühlstraße underground station around 10:20 p.m. and then followed her home, repeatedly demanding money for his help.
Arriving at the apartment, the 20 to 25-year-old man tried to take the handbag away from the elderly woman. When the woman resisted, he knocked her over with the wheelchair and fled with a double-digit sum of money. The woman was unharmed, the police are asking witnesses who saw something in the Brudermühlstrasse underground station and on Hinterbärenbad-, Fernpass- and Bad-Gasteiner-Strasse for information on 089/29100.
