Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick impress in their stylish partner look. But only she wears different colored shoes.

The actress Sarah Jessica Parker (58) showed an extraordinary look on the red carpet in New York. While she was out and about with her husband Matthew Broderick (61) in an elegant partner look, the “Sex and the City” icon surprised everyone at the “New York City Ballet’s” fall gala with different colored high heels.

She paired a two-tone pair of heeled sandals, each with a rose and a black brooch, which she chose to match a silver glitter bag. The series star also showed off diamond earrings and several diamond rings.

Parker kept her attire all black as she walked the red carpet with her husband. But there’s no trace of boredom here either: According to a report in the Daily Mail Parker wore a Carolina Herrera dress. She was seen in a ballet-inspired look with a flared tulle skirt. The black off-shoulder top was particularly eye-catching because of its cut-outs.

Another eye-catcher in her outfit was the large headdress that tied her long blonde hair at the back of her head. The 58-year-old shared a photo of the bow on Instagram, whose ribbons are almost reminiscent of a veil. About the picture, which was apparently taken in downtown New York, Parker writes: “Everything was beautiful at the ballet.”

Husband Matthew Broderick follows suit

Husband and actor Matthew Broderick was also part of the red carpet production. He wore a black suit with silky applications and combined the elegant classic with a white shirt and a bow tie.

Parker has been one of the gala chairs since 2012. This year and its 75th anniversary, the New York Ballet also honored fashion and the city’s culture at the annual event at the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center in New York City. The event also featured celebrity guests such as Laverne Cox, Andrew Cohen, Claire Danes, Hugh Dancy, Diane Kruger and Naomi Watts on the red carpet.
