The story of the 22 years that Vladimir Putin has been in power in Moscow can hardly be explained without the paranoia that has accompanied him throughout this period. Paranoia of internal enemies and external enemies, that is, from the West, which he repeatedly accused of being clients of the opposition in their own country. This never-substantiated claim has always been contradicted by what could be read in the independent media – and especially on the Internet: that Putin is an autocrat and spreads lies about his opponents.
