Peffekoven doesn’t want to exaggerate, but the Pardi conveys a touch of Paris when you walk up to it: the corner location, the large windows, the red awnings and the ambience of the Neuhauser Wilhelminian style facades. It is a place with style, the restaurant is large yet comfortable, a bar atmosphere instead of a grill room, discreetly lit in warm tones. And even though the season is almost over: There is also plenty of space outside, a wonderful outdoor area, with little disruption from traffic on the narrow streets. The welcome at the door from the kind boss is warm, and although a reservation isn’t a bad idea given the demand, he always tries to find a spot.
