The evening of Super Tuesday went pretty much as expected for the Republicans: favorite Donald Trump won the presidential primaries well ahead of Nikki Haley, the former UN ambassador and governor of South Carolina. In 12 of the 15 states, Trump won a clear majority of votes, according to counts and projections available late Tuesday evening (local time). But the tiny state of Vermont, in the far northeast, ruined an outright victory for him.
