The endless expanses of space begin in a cowshed in Reischach. The small town in the Upper Bavarian district of Altötting is an idyll that looks good on postcards. A stream flows through the town into a small valley with a bathing lake, grove, scattered farms. Reischach has almost 2800 inhabitants. It is quite noticeable when parts of rocket engines are suddenly being tested in a once disused cowshed.
