Recipe – Simply Eat: Sabich Israeli Breakfast Sandwich

Cooking what tasted so good on vacation? With the Sabich, the recipe is guaranteed to succeed. The breakfast sandwich preserves the whole variety of flavors of Israel.

We often bring back memories of a particular dish that we liked so much from our holidays. We associate this dish with the atmosphere and warmth of the south and the people we shared it with. But it is not uncommon for us to be disappointed when trying to replicate this pleasure at home! I still give the Sabich a chance.

This snack bar brought me great joy in Tel Aviv. At a crossroads, in a place with plaster peeling off the facade, I tried this concoction of crispy fried eggplant, lots of hummus, eggs and lettuce in fluffy pita bread.
