Rallies against anti-Semitism are a “cause for hope”, judges Emmanuel Macron

Emmanuel Macron “greets with respect” those who will march on Sunday against anti-Semitism, gatherings which are “a reason for hope”, the Elysée indicated this Friday evening, suggesting that the head of state would not participate personally when walking.

“The President of the Republic has tirelessly fought all forms of anti-Semitism since day one. The fact that gatherings are coming all over France to relay this fight is a reason for hope. This is why the president salutes with respect those who, on Sunday, will march for the Republic, against anti-Semitism and for the release of the hostages,” writes the Elysée.
