Something like this is unusual even for the notoriously unpredictable train drivers’ union (GDL): GDL boss Claus Weselsky had a press release sent out at two o’clock on Monday night. In it he announced the toughest strike so far in this collective bargaining round. From Tuesday evening, the train drivers are supposed to stop work for six days in a row. This is a new test of patience for train drivers after most trains were canceled for three days last week.
