In the text of his ban order, Yves Foulon, the LR mayor of Arcachon, regrets that previous measures aimed at limiting this environmental noise pollution, such as the establishment of paid and compulsory parking for the trailers of these beach gear, have failed.
This desire for a ban could, however, come up against case law. Almost ten years ago, the town hall of Cannes, on the Côte d’Azur, saw such an order finally canceled by the Council of State in 2017.
