Philippe Douste-Blazy in turn pushed towards the exit of the IHU

Let’s be honest, it had escaped me that Philippe Douste-Blazy held a position at the IHU. This is to say if the former Minister for Europe, then for Health of Jacques Chirac was discreet in his role of “qualified personality” within the board of directors of the IHU of Marseille. A role which should end soon, François Crémieux, the director of the Hospitals of Marseille, having requested his departure, reports the JDD in its latest edition.

We learn that Philippe Douste-Blazy, reputed to be close to the controversial professor Didier Raoult retired on August 31, has not sat on the last fifteen boards of directors. The former cardiologist also stood out at the start of the Covid-19 pandemic by initiating a petition in support of the “Didier Raoult protocol” which recommended prescribing hydroxychloroquine to sick patients. A petition that he had indicated, however, that he regretted almost a year later.
