With 57% of the votes in her favour, Anisha won, on the night of Saturday to Sunday, the 2022 edition of star Academy facing Enola. From the start of the season, six weeks ago, on TF1, the 22-year-old management student, from Val-d’Oise and originally from Madagascar, appeared as a favorite with her moving cover of I am sick.
Less than 24 hours after her triumph, she returns, to 20 minutes, on his journey. Before hanging up, she asks to add a few words. He is given carte blanche. “I would like to thank all the people who voted for me, my classmates for this great adventure, the teachers, the show’s teams, the journalists. I hope I have made my country, Madagascar, proud, which has supported me from afar. I also want to say thank you to France, and to everyone, in fact, to all the people who have contributed to this victory, ”she listed, full of gratitude. The message got through.
You won the final with 57% of the votes. It is a plebiscite. Did you anticipate this public support?
I knew that part of the public supported me, but this victory was a big surprise for me. When my first name was announced by Nikos Aliagas, I was overwhelmed with emotion, happy, grateful, full of gratitude. There, I am still in the clouds. I didn’t imagine myself winning. Each day is enough for its trouble, it’s a bit like my principle. Before the final, I said to myself that whatever happened, I had won everything, that I had to give everything, that I had no control over everything because it was up to the public to choose. Beyond the victory, I saw that people believed in me more than I believed in myself.
During the first prime, you were very nervous, shy. How did you feel about this final?
Throughout the week, I was focused on the texts, on what I had to give from my heart, from my guts. I said to myself: “Do what you have to do, share. Music is only happiness! Everyone carried their messages. Me, it was hope, courage, love, the fact of always going there… On this bonus, I took enormous pleasure.
At the start of the season, in your portrait, you described yourself as a loner. Was community life difficult for you?
I am solitary but sociable. I like the human, the meetings, to discuss. I am very introverted so I recharge my energy by spending time alone. Living in community was indeed a challenge. I made this adventure to raise it. Having been in the shadows and suddenly being propelled into the light was another challenge. From the first weeks, I adapted as best I could. It was not difficult because there was a lot of kindness and solidarity.
Apart from your victory, what will remain as your strongest memory of these six weeks?
Self-surpassing. Going deeper, going back to basics, telling yourself that it’s ok to have doubts and flaws. I learned to be patient with myself. Sometimes, when I’m alone, I tend to self-flagellate. Not because I’m a perfectionist but because I doubt and fear I won’t be able to do it. However, I always end up pushing myself by telling myself: “Even if you can’t do it, go for it!” In this adventure, I didn’t have the competitive spirit but I had the fighting spirit to become the best version of myself.
In an acting class, you talked about the hardships you experienced when you were younger by comparing yourself to a broken guitar. Are these six weeks at the ” star Academy » helped fix it?
I exposed myself during this course, even if I did not necessarily go into the details. This adventure could bring a piece of wood on this broken guitar. I want to say to all the people who have had difficulties in life that they are not isolated cases. I think I can be an example to show that with faith, hope and a lot of love, we can get there. We go, we stumble, we fall, we get up. Everything that happens to me is a gift of life, a revenge on my past.
You were a management student before joining the show. Do you plan to go back to school?
Studies take an important place in my life. A month and a half ago, I was just making music in my room or on the open stage. From now on, it will take up more space in my daily life. Today I can say that I am a musician. It took a long time for me to tell. Music is my best friend, it’s my therapy, it’s what accompanies me every day. Besides, I would like to continue my studies and try to juggle as I could with the song. I know it’s doable because I’ve been a student while working as a work-study student.
Vitaa, Camélia Jordana and Renaud Rebillaud wrote the song “From up there” for you. Did this trio get it right?
I am very honored to have this song, it is a beautiful gift. She talks about doing this course, in a telecrochet. The music suits me.
What would you like to offer with the album you are going to prepare?
I haven’t had time to talk to Sony about it yet, but I’d like to add a folksy touch. I would also like a bit of country, pop-rock. I want to be both gentle and powerful, to bring something lighter, symphonic. Above all, I want to convey emotions: joy, love, hope. I am a soul who would like to touch other souls.
