Federal Labor Minister Hubertus Heil (SPD) and Federal Finance Minister Christian Lindner (FDP) presented corresponding legislative plans in Berlin on Tuesday. The statutory pension insurance will receive “a third pillar” for financing, said Lindner. Heil spoke of a “show of strength” to secure pensions.
