Ottobrunn – 31-year-old injured by knife – district of Munich

A 31-year-old waiter was injured by a knife by an unknown perpetrator early on Saturday morning in Ottobrunn on the way home. According to the police investigations to date, the later victim was approached by two other men on Putzbrunner Strasse and asked for cigarettes. An argument broke out, one of the two strangers pulled a knife and stabbed in the direction of the 31-year-old. He tried to grab the knife and injured his right hand. After the perpetrator and his companion fled, a 25-year-old Uber driver found the victim on the sidewalk around 4:40 a.m. and called the police. The 31-year-old was taken to a hospital by ambulance for outpatient treatment. A search for the two attackers was unsuccessful. The police are therefore hoping for information from the public. The two wanted men are said to be about 1.75 meters tall; they were wearing dark outerwear, blue jeans and white shoes, according to the victim’s description. Witnesses are asked to contact Munich police headquarters, Kommissariat 26, telephone 089/2910-0, or another police station.
