An Israeli woman was killed in a missile attack from Lebanon on her house, the Mevoot Hermon Regional Council announced. The Regional Council, which manages around fifteen villages near the border with Lebanon, identified it as Mira Ayalon. This is the mother of Barak Ayalon, 45, whose death in the same strike on the village of Kfar Youval had been announced earlier by the army, which specified that he was a member of the unit of defense of the locality.

Israel continues to strike the Gaza Strip and hunt down Hamas and Hezbollah fighters. A cloud of smoke rose on Sunday morning above the town of Khan Younes after an Israeli bombardment. The Israeli army has said in recent days that it is focusing its operations on this town in the south of the territory where hundreds of thousands of civilians are massed after fleeing massive bombings in the north of the territory at the start of the war.
The Israeli army also indicated that it had killed “four terrorists” who had infiltrated Israel from Lebanon during the night from Saturday to Sunday and who had “opened fire” on its soldiers.
