OM supporters banned from entering the stadium for the match against Montpellier

On December 20 (9 p.m.), the match between OM and MHSC will be played without Marseille supporters. The Hérault prefecture has, in fact, published a decree to prohibit Marseille ultras from accessing the Mosson stadium, in Montpellier (Hérault).

That day, from 3 p.m. until 1 a.m., the state services in Hérault indicated that “taking advantage of the status of supporter of the Olympique de Marseille club or behaving as such to access the Mosson stadium in Montpellier and to drive or park on public roads within the perimeters delimited by the decree.

This decision was, in particular, taken to prevent disturbances to public order. The prefecture also prohibits firecrackers, smoke bombs, projectiles, flags and banners “whose inscriptions call for provocation, violence or hatred”.
