It has been almost five years since one of Paris’ most important landmarks burned down: the Gothic Notre-Dame Cathedral. Since then, large parts of the church have been covered by scaffolding, but now the French capital has at least one piece of Notre-Dame back: the new crossing tower, decorated with a golden rooster and cross. The scaffolding that had previously hidden the top of the tower was dismantled on Tuesday.
