How they rebuilt the bombed old town street by street, mostly with functional new buildings. How they declined the economic miracle here, with its big names that have now disappeared. Not to mention the centuries between the Middle Ages, Renaissance and Franconian Romanticism. If you want to know how one thing got to another in this city, you just have to go a little way to the south, where the Nazi party rally grounds are located with the zeppelin field and the congress building, the horseshoe of which looks like the most painful joint capsule in world history.
