Nations League: goalkeeper error saves tie for Germany – Sport

The German national soccer team missed a possible sense of achievement in their last endurance test before the World Cup. The team of national coach Hansi Flick only managed to draw 3: 3 (0: 0) in a spectacular classic in London despite a 2-0 lead against England. Ilkay Gündogan (52′, penalty kick) and Kai Havertz (67’/87′) scored the goals for the DFB selection at Wembley Stadium. The European Vice Champion turned the game around with goals from Luke Shaw (72′), Mason Mount (75′) and Harry Kane (83′, penalty kick). The dress rehearsal for the tournament in Qatar (November 20th to December 18th) will take place on November 16th in Oman.
