NASA’s Perseverance spacecraft finds donut rock on Mars

In the photo that “Perserverance” took with one of its cameras, other rocks can be seen around the “donut stone”. “Perseverance” landed on Mars in 2021 with a risky maneuver and has been exploring the planet ever since. The rover, which cost around 2.5 billion dollars, took eight years to develop and build.

ingenuityMars Helicopter, has taken a break. After 63 days of radio silence, the mini aircraft reported back to the NASA control center for the first time a few days ago. Ingenuity landed behind a hill on its 52nd flight and was temporarily unable to establish radio communications with the Perseverance rover, the US space agency said. Ingenuity had come to Mars with Perseverance in February 2021 and was only intended to prove that motorized aircraft could take off there. Meanwhile, Ingenuity accompanies the rover on its mission as a faithful companion.
