Dahbia B., the youngest of the family, is “the bad seed”, as the eldest confided to the investigators. “She’s always causing trouble.” Despite a restoration CAP, the young woman is without a profession. She lives off odd jobs and help from her sisters. During her interrogation, she admits that she sometimes smokes joints and drinks alcohol in small quantities. Dahbia B. lives either with one of her sister who lives in Blanc-Mesnil (Seine-Saint-Denis) or with the other in Paris. According to information from our colleagues, Dahbia B. is “calm” and “apathetic” during her interrogation. She answers the questions “in a laconic and superficial way”, confides the investigator in charge of asking the questions. The young woman has been in this state since the loss of her parents. “Everything has changed,” says his sister. She did not recover from it and would have “made a kind of depression”.

“She is useless, my sister”

On the other hand, the sister portrays Dahbia as “clever”, with a “strong personality”, who always ends up getting what she wants. In her deposition, she is sometimes harsher in her words: “She goes out. She comes in. She is useless, my sister. She shames me when I made her go out with me.” The big sister reproaches the little one for wanting to be rich but not looking for a job. “For me, she is bipolar: sometimes she laughs, sometimes not. All the time, she changes,” she ended up confiding to the investigators.

The world explains that according to the big sister, Dahbia’s first delusions date back to July. Indeed, a month earlier, the eldest moved to 119 rue Manin, in Paris, and often welcomes Dahbia. It was there, according to the confessions of the young woman, that little Lola was killed. During this cohabitation, the older sister remembered a disturbing episode in September during which Dahbia woke her up in the middle of the night to tell her: “I received a message. They are going to kill me. They are going to kill me on the 16th.” In the last months before the murder, Dahbia would therefore have been plagued by delusions that question her mental health. The key point at the center of this case.
